HOW IT WORKS
Our transformational coaching programme tackles issues associated with mental and emotional difficulties which often stop people from thriving, achieving and in some cases simply surviving. Unwanted behaviours, thoughts and feelings can, and will, impact our lives negatively. Having high anxiety, low moods, low self-esteem, and confidence issues, means individuals can struggle tremendously to navigate the day. Ongoing and persistent daily emotional stress, causes our mental wellbeing to be stretched and fatigued to a point where even the simplest of tasks can feel overwhelming. These feelings reduce our drive and motivation and keep us in a ‘fed up’ state or the feeling of being ‘stuck’.
At The Still Mind Therapy Clinic we strive to create a safe, comfortable environment for clients to explore their difficulties in greater depth, while supporting their mental wellbeing and coaching individuals to realise their reachable goals. Establishing and agreeing milestones whilst applying effective NLP and clinical hypnosis methods in personalised sessions, promotes life changing success. Breakthrough achievements are generated when the client commits to long term change, and the therapy coach commits to designing, mentoring, assessing, and reviewing progress throughout the programme. A person-centred approach and genuine rapport, builds trust and the required teamwork for transformative results. Our sessions can be arranged both online via Zoom or face to face at our therapeutic wellbeing centre.
NLP, CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY & LIFE COACHING
Our coaching plans are bespoke to the individual and their story, with a minimum of four sessions recommended to achieve transforming results. Each session is structured around conscious and unconscious techniques to therapeutically relieve and eradicate symptoms. NLP and clinical hypnotherapy work is very powerful and often feels instant, however, working side by side with a life coaching strategy is a fundamental part of the programme and helps to promote permanent change and longevity of the still mind.
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) uses perceptual, behavioural, and communication techniques to make it easier for people to change their thoughts and actions.
Clinical hypnotherapy means using advanced methods of hypnosis and other techniques to treat a variety psychological problems. Hypnosis is a different state of consciousness which you can naturally enter so that, for therapeutic purposes, beneficial corrections may be given directly to your unconscious mind. In this way, hypnosis is an effective way of making contact with our inner (unconscious) self, which is both a reservoir of unrecognised potential and knowledge as well as being the unwitting source of many of our problems.
Life coaching is the process of helping someone find the path between where they are now and where they want to be. It is about setting and achieving goals in many areas of life including, health and wellbeing, career, relationships and work-life balance.
NLP, Hypnosis, and life coaching techniques form the basis of our therapeutic coaching sessions. The personalised plans tap into strategies which improve and empower mental wellbeing.
Internal belief system - Our inner beliefs are those truths and ideas that we hold on to and which guide our lives. Negative and limiting beliefs can hold us back and take joy out of our lives, changing the internal beliefs to a positive inspiring system helps us reach our goals.
Growth mindset - A growth mindset, as conceived by Stanford psychologist Carol Dweck and colleagues, is the belief that a person's capacities and talents can be improved over time. People with a growth mindset embrace challenges, stay resilient in the face of difficulties, learn from constructive criticism and seek out inspiration in others people’s success.
